Design & Detailed Engineering

  • Complete electrical system starting from grid supply to distribution of electrical power supply to various plant loads.
  • Load study/analysis, as to be furnished by process engineers; calculation of maximum demand and sizing of transformers, Generators.
  • Calculation of fault level, study and design of system protection and co-ordination for the plant electrical distribution system, relay setting etc.
  • Safety Earthing System and Lightning Protection system design.
  • Lighting System design.
  • Techno-economic evaluation of the most optimum type of distribution system for the plant and working out the optimum size of power factor correction equipment and all other electrical equipment associated with the system.
  • Detailed engineering which covers preparation of electrical single line diagrams, sub-station layouts, control interlocks, power and control cable layouts, lighting layout, safety earthing and lighting protection layout, plant communication / firefighting system design and layout etc.
  • Preparation of Lighting & Power Distribution System for Residential and Commercial Complex; Cable, Lighting, Earthing and Lightning Protection System Layout; Telephone & Public Address System, Fire Fighting System Layout; Conduit embedment (Conceal) Layout details etc.
  • Design and detailed engineering of switchyard / substation up to 400KV (electrical civil & structural).
  • Preparation of Cable Schedule, Inter Connection Schedule and Bill of Materials for the entire plant electrical & instrumentation system.
  • Study and recommendation of captive power generation wherever feasible; design of power distribution and hook-up with utility supply system, preparation of protection and control schemes or AMF, Manual/Auto synchronizing, Load sharing/Load shedding for parallel operation of captive power generator (s) with grid supply.
